Systems
A group of systems make up?
An organism
What are the differences between plant and the animal cell?
- A plant cell has a cell wall and an animal cell has no cell wall
- A plant cell has a large vacuole while an animal cell has a small vacuole
- A plant cell has a starch grain while an animal cell has a glycogen granule
What is diffusion?
Diffusion is the movement of particles from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration.
What is osmosis?
This is the movement of water particles from an area of low concentration to an area of high concentration to low concentration
What is active transport?
The movement of particles through a semi permeable membrane from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration using energy
List the one place in which active transport take place in the body?
When 3 potassium molecules are given up for 1 potassium molecule for the process of atp & adp taking place
Name the types of systems in the body
- Respiratory
- Digestive
- Circulatory
- Skeletal
5.Reproductive
6 Nervous
What’s the basic unit of living?
cells
