Q

what are the side effects of these drugs:

  1. cyclosporine
  2. azathioprine
  3. prednisone
  4. antilymphocyte globin
  5. OKT3
A

what are the side effects of these drugs:

  1. cyclosporine-hypertension, elevated bun, enhanced renal sensitivity to insults
  2. azathioprine*- severe leukopenia, anemia, thrombocytopenia
  3. prednisone- adrenal suppression
  4. antilymphocyte globin*-leukopenia, thrombocytopenia
  5. OKT3-serum sickness

*(the “a”’s cause blood issues (leukopenia and thrombocytopenia) but “an” causes anemia)
