Endocrine system function
System controls body functions
Integumentary system function
System protects internal tissues from injury, waterproofs the body, and helps regulate body temp. System also serves as a barrier to foreign substances.
Lymphatic system function
System helps cleanse the blood and houses the white blood cells that are involved in protecting the body fr environmental pathogens.
Muscular system function
System produces movement through contractions.
Nervous system function
System acts as the body’s control system and is necessary tk protect body from changes in the internal and external environment.
Reproductive system function
System produces offspring
Respiratory system function
System keeps all the cells in the body supplied w oxygen and removed carbon dioxide.
Skeletal system function
Provides support a d protection for the body. Supplies framework used to create movement, and serves as storage for minerals such as calcium.
Urinary system function
System helps maintain the water and electrolyte balance within the body. Regulated the acid base balance in the blood, and removed all nitrogen containing wastes from the body.
Circulatory System Function
System works as the transportation system for substances such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nutrients in the body.
