Lifestyle changes
- Asthma control to avoid excessive coughing
- Weight loss
#- Supervised Pelvic Floor Muscle Exercises (Kegel’s),
- Avoid constipation
- Pessary: no much detail here as she already had it before.
- Surgery
1) Sacrospinous fixation with sutures:
Vaginally. Success 70%, Anesthesia. Hospital stay.
Risks: painful sex, bladder emptying issues, water infections, buttock pain.
2) Sacrocol popexy with mesh:
Abdominally (open/lap). Success 85%. Anesthesia. Hospital stay.
Risks: SUl, bladder emptying issues, constipation, water infections, mesh erosion.
- Local MDT… Data entered into national registry… FU for 6 months after surgery,
‘CircTe |- PIL, write back to the GP.

25-30%
