A
- in horses, large intestines
- adults are in the lumen of the large intestine.
- eggs - thick shelled, asymmetrical with mucoid plug at one end females lay them at horse anus in viscous/gelatinous substance.

- horses
- adults are in the stomach
- larvae are in the skil
- they have big mouths (funnal shaped).
- eggs have larvae which hatch quickly
- IH = muscid flies and it goes from L1 - L3 in the fly.
- two areas that the infected fly deposits parasite = around the mouth (gastric habronemosis) or into wounds, periocuar areas or penis (cutaneous/pulmonary habronemosis).
