Anticoagulants, how to alter dose prior to xla…

A

Apixiban & Dabigatran x2 a day= so miss morning dose and take pm dose

Rivaroxaban x1 a day= if they take it in the morning delay until 4 hrs after Haem.
= if they take it in the evening then take as normal

A

Aspirin, clopidogrel & dipyridamole

Don’t alter dose, pack + suture. Don’t advise NSAIDS, only paracetamol

When there is a prevention of complete eruption due to lack of space, obstruction or development in an abnormal position. Resulting in partial eruption or not at all.

Prophylaxis xla of pathology free 8’s discontinued on nhs

Surgical xla of impacted 8’s limited to practice w/ evidence of pathology: unrestorable caries, non-treatable pulpal or periapical pathology, cellulitis, abscess, internal/external resorption of adjacent tooth, # of tooth, cyst/tumour, osteomyelitis.

1st episode unless severe not an indication, 2nd or subsequent episodes are indications.
