Exercise as a part of their daily routine is valuable for the duration of pregnancy and in preparation for labour and delivery by increasing strength, flexibility, endurance and stamina.

Life can be made a lot easier through improvements in strength, balance, coordination and mobility.

The high community profile of fitness has created a growth industry in which everything from deodorant and energy drinks to clothing is believed to be essential for a person to achieve the fitness they desire.

Companies like Nike and Reebok take advantage as a profit-making commodity.
The fitness industry has developed and become an industry that employs people in a wide range of roles, rather than just amateurs and volunteers.
