ACUTE ANGLE CLOSURE GLAUCOMA

investigations:
-tanometry (assess IOP)
-ganioscopy in slit lamp (visualise angle)

initial management:
-Pilocarpine (parasympathomometic- increases aqueous outflow)
-Tamelol (beta blocker- decreases aqueous humour production)
-IV acetazolamide (decreases aqueous humour production)

definitive= laser peripheral iridotomy
