Which receptors does tramadol work at?
Weak agonist, predominantly at MOP receptors (mu opioid receptors)
What dose of tramadol?
50-100mg QDS orally
Indications of Morphine IV
Visceral pain and MI pain,
Less effective in trauma
IV morphine dose
0.1-0.15mg/kg
Lasts 45-60 mins
IM morphine dose
0.2-0.3mg/kg
Lasts 60-120mins
