What does the Hydraulic Transfer Pump do?
Mechanically transfers pressure from an operating pressure source to an unpressurized system by way of an interconnected motor and pump.
When does gear warning horn sound? When can you silence it?
- Gear not down & locked, throttles retarded, airspeed < 210 KIAS, less than 1,200 ft AGL (CAN SILENCE)
- Gear not down & locked + flaps in landing position (25° or 40°) (CANNOT SILENCE)
What does a clapper do in the elevator control system?
If control column becomes disconnected and there is no jam, CLAPPER will cause both columns to move & both elevators to move. If there is a jam, CLAPPER will allow non-jammed side to move independently.
What are aileron torque tubes & bus cables for?
Bus cables synchronize aileron movement.
Torque tube links the control wheels (can be overridden)
