A

Quality input is when a business uses high quality raw materials. To do this, they must find a supplier who consistently provides high quality products. They must do this because a business simply cannot make a high quality product using poor quality materials

What is the employee method of ensuring quality?

A

This is when a business has workers who are skilled at their jobs. A business can ensure staff are adequately skilled by providing training to it’s employees. A worker who has the correct level of skill and knowledge can make a high quality product.

A

This is when a businesses ensures that the machinery and technology used in production is well maintained to make sure it is functioning correctly. They might also keep machinery up to date by purchasing the latest technology.

What is quality control?

A

This involves two quality inspections. The first is when a sample of the raw materials are checked before production to ensure that they are of the required standard. The second inspection happens at the very end of production when the finished good is inspected to ensure it means the required quality standards.
