Standardised goods - goods mass-produced, usually on an assembly line. No variation between
Customised Goods - goods that are varied according to the needs of customers
Intermediate goods - finished good for one business but an input for another. i.e. motor for microwave

Self-serve - encouraging customers to take the initiative to help themselves i.e. self-serve check outs at Coles
