FOD

A

Foreign Object Debris or Foreign Object Damage- Objects such as coins, rocks, metal objects, trash, etc. That can injure personnel and cause damage to the aircraft when ingested into the aircraft engine or blown by aircraft exhaust. Agents must pick up FOD and dispose of it in approved containers when working on the ramp.

A

Material Safety Data Sheet- Document containing important data regarding a particular substance. When someone becomes exposed to a workplace chemical by inhaling, touching or ingesting it, the MSDS provides first aid, signs and symptoms informations.

Special Services Request/Special Service Remark- A request entered into a passenger’s PNR advising when special assistance (wheelchair, assistance to gate, unaccompanied minors, etc.) is needed.
