Above 1000’ AGL:
Apply ECAM/QRH
Check Appr and Landing capability
Check required equip
If req’d adjust RVR/DH/Brief
Go around if all not done by 1000’

Go around unless can continue visually (Cat II)

Below 100’ (Cat III Dual)
May continue unless “Autoland” warning displayed

If Cat II and Autoland with sufficient visual references can manually land

A

Setup:
F-Pln enter approach and missed

Sec revise landing runway (eg circling)

Flying:
Fly approach stabilized at Flaps 3 at “F” speed
If visual by 1000AAE, level off

To maneuver select TRK/FPA
Turn 45 degree crosswind for 30s
In downwind leg Activate Sec
Start timer abeam threshold (3s/100ft)
AP/FDs off before descent to runway
Select Flaps Full when on final descent and to satisfy SALGA (configured by 1000AAE)

If no ground spoilers extend on landing:

A

Check both thrust levers are Idle
Select Max Reverse and fully press brake pedals

(If not armed, spoilers will extend with reverse thrust selected)
(If spoilers don’t extend, Autobrake will not activate)

Left seat Pilot must be PF

Can do Cat I Autoland in Canada if not prohibited in 10-10 pages
Other countries no Cat I Autoland

PM: At 350 RA check “Land” is annunciated

PM: At 40 RA check “Flare” is annunciated
(Otherwise Go around or manual landing if visual sufficient)

If NWS or AntiSkid failure Set AP off at touchdown

PM: Check “ Rollout” is displayed

A

Tune an ILS freq like 108.0 and 0 degrees in any Rad Nav page, check message goes away and clear the frequency

A

1000’ Configuration Gate:
Landing config, Ldg Memo no blue
PM repeats non compliant condition

500’ Stable Gate:
Speed +10/-5
V/S stabilized and <1000fpm
Thrust stabilized and appropriate
PM repeats non compliant condition

200’ Go Around Gate:
Must go around if 1000 and 500’ requirements not met
If DA < 300’ with no Auto Callouts the Minimums call will act as GA Gate

“Unstabilized” if conditions not met
Shall commence go around if “Unstabilized” called at any time during approach

A

Not normally allowed.

May pre plan (and brief) tow forward with only ONE engine running if:
Heaviest tractor is used
Lowest possible speed
Minimum turning angles

Unplanned and ground crew not ready:
Ground crew will co-ordinate stop and request engines be shut down

NEVER tow an aircraft onto gate with an engine running

No overwing gravity refuelling
Deplane all passengers
Get airport authorization and have Airport Fire Department standby AT AIRCRAFT
Run engine 1 only

Enhanced ice shedding

A

Normal run up tell ATC on initial contact and do ice shedding every 30 min and one within 5 min of takeoff

Enhanced:
In FRZA, FZDZ, FZFG, +SN do enhanced shedding with 70%thrust (no dwell) every 10 minutes)
