Check MELs (with flight plan and that placards are present on logbook cover and aircraft)
ADIRS Complete / Fast align
Complete alignment when:
FFOD
Crew change
Departing Latitudes <2 north or south
GPS not avail, Navaid coverage poor
GPS not avail and flight time > 3hrs
Complete fast align if:
Complete align not required and Drift > 5nm
Do not align when moving or when starting or with engines running

L stow: Fuel Quantity Stick Forms, Vibration sheets, Smell/Odour Sheets, Permit to proceed, Reclearance Card
R stow: Tailored Enroute charts
Shelf: AGRIS mic, Jumpseat card, Charging adapter, gear pins and collars, fan cowl door keys
Closet: MEL, EW pouch, Document pouch,
Flight deck Emergency Equipment Check
Circuit Breaker Check
First flight on Fin for that crew, or
A/C unattended
Life vest each seat
Crash Axe
Smoke Hood (tamper seal)
Extinguisher
O2 masks (stowed)
Flashlights flashing <10s
Escape ropes stowed
Fire gloves
Circuit breakers
FFOD
A/C unattended
Cockpit door check
FFOD
Ann light test (Open/Fault on pedestal and 3 LED striker lights on overhead come on)
Close door, toggle switch to unlock (open light should be on)
Release switch to recenter
Close door and check “Open” goes off
Check door opens normally and closes when mechanical override is used
FM Database
Maintenance action required if:
Both primary and secondary databases are expired
Primary navigation database will expire during flight and secondary does not contain next cycle
RNAV restrictions if AIRAC cycle will change in flight:
- Dispatch will only plan RNAV/RNP routes if unchanged in new database
- RNAV procedures are permitted if unchanged in new database
Packs off t/o when:
Contaminated runway
First t/o after engine wash
Using packs on APU bleed
If a fuel spill is reported or
(A321) FUEL L/R Wing Tk Overflow ECAM appears:
A319/320
All fuel pump switches off
Mode Sel Man
A321
Don’t do ECAM
All pumps and Ctr tk transfer switches off
Pack flow selector
or
Econ Flow (321)
LO: Fewer than 85 pax
HI: Abnormally hot or humid
NORM: All other times
(Note: on APU bleed, both pack controllers are HI)
Econ Flow ON if fewer than 140 pax
(Note: on APU bleed, pack controllers use 120% of normal flow automatically)
Cargo Smoke Warning on ground with cargodoors open
Do not discharge agent, have ground crew investigate
Call Mtce for an FWC reset
If ground crew reports fuel leak after engine start
FCOM Pro Nor
Run engine at idle for 5 min
If decreases <60 drips/min may depart
If >60/min, shut down engine and restart
If still >60/min, shut down and advise mtce to investigate
