Q

Ideology

A
  1. As the signers and dancers leave their vehicles they let their feelings of optimism pour out, by the end they are back in their cars going now where.
    - This could be seen as symbolic of the characters but also, frustrated at the lack of movement towards their goal at becoming stars.
  2. The unrealist nature of singing and dancing in a traffic jam shows that this wouldn’t happen in real life. This establishes the typical Hollywood escapism who know this genre would expect.
