OpenManage Enterprise
It is the one-to-many management console tool used for discovery and management of Dell PowerEdge servers. OME is also used to update, monitor, maintain and patch systems. OME provides a simple and easy interface for system administrators to maximize the uptime and health of their Dell systems.

OpenManage-Devices-“Create Custom Group -Static”
Defined as a static list of devices. Membership is explicitly defined and is not affected by future events such as newly discovered devices.
OpenManage-Devices-“Create Custom Group -Query”
Dynamically defined by using filter parameters. Membership can change when new devices are discovered or properties of the device change to match criteria.

A job is created to find devices based on IP address, range or hostname or a range to exclude. What types of devices, chassis, server, switch, etc. On your own schedule

You can schedule these jobs on 12th generation and later PowerEdge servers, networking devices, PowerEdge chassis, EqualLogic arrays, Compellent Arrays, and PowerVault devices.

Refreshes the particular status of the device or group of devices.This process is executed every hour regardless.
You can select this option to provide the latest status of the device or group of devices. A process that is automatically executed every hour but it can also be prompted in an on-demand sequence in ‘Devices’
