Alternator/Belt/Wires
are not broken, cut torn or frayed and securely mounted.
Exhaust
Is not cracked, bent, broken, or leaking. A leak would be indicated by a soot trail.
Water Pump and Belt
are not cracked bent or broken and cut torn or frayed and securely mounted.
Coolant Reservoir/Cap/Hose
aren’t cracked bent broken or leaking and securely mounted. (Coolant level is between the add and full marks)
Oil Dispatick
is not cracked, bent, or broken and is secure. (Oil is between the Add and Full marks-if I need to add oil, I would do so here)
Gear Driven Air Compressor/Wires
Are not cracked, bent, broken, cut torn frayed or leaking and it is secure.
Gear Driven Power Steering Pump/Reservoir/Cap and Hoses
Pump is not cracked, bent, broken, or leaking and is secured.
Reservoir Cap and hoses- are not broken or leaking and are securely mounted.
The fluid level is between the Add and Full line.
Steering Shaft/Gear Box
Shaft-not cracked, bent, or broken and is secure.
Gear Box- not cracked, bent, broken, or leaking and is secure.
Pittman Arm and Drag Link
are not cracked, bent, broken and are secured by 2 castle nuts and cotter pins that are not cracked bent broken and secure.
Leaf Springs (Springs/Hangers/Ubolts)
Hangers are not cracked, bent, or broken and secure.
Leaf Springs are not cracked, bent, broken or “shifted” and are secured by the U bolts which are not cracked, bent or broken and secure.
Shock Absorber
is not cracked bent broken or leaking and is secure by the top and bottom shock absorber mounts which are not cracked bent broken and secure.
Brakes (4)
Brake hose- is not cut torn frayed or leaking and secure.
Brake chamber- is not cracked bent broken or leaking and secure.
Brake rotor-is not cracked bent or broken and is secure.
Brake pads- is not cracked bent broken and free of (DOG) debris, oil, and grease.
There is at least 1/4” of lining on the pads.
Inner and outer sidewalls of my steer tires
have no (ABC) Abrasions bulges or cuts.
Tread is evenly worn.
I have atleast 4/32” of tread depth on my steering tires. My steering tires are not retread.
Rim
is not cracked bent broken and free of illegal welds and secured by lugs nuts which are not cracked bent broken or loose or missing. A loose lug nut would be indicated by a rust trail.
Hub Assembly
is not cracked bent broken or leaking and is secure. If I needed to add hub oil I would do so here.
