3.) Turn Off the Engine

A

Turn the Key to On. Verify air pressure is at max psi:
- “I am going to do my applied brake test”
- “I am pushing the brake pedal, I shouldn’t lose more than 4 psi in 1 minute”
- “Would you please time me?”
When complete say:
- “And I have not.”

  • I am now going to fan my brakes until the “low air pressure warning light” comes on. It should come on before 60 psi.
  • “And it has.”
  • I will continue fanning my brakes until the “emergency spring brakes”pop out. They should pop out between 20-40 psi.
  • “And they have.”

BEEP THE HORN WHEN COMPLETE!!!
