A

A

Pec major (clavicular head)

A

Client supine.
To palpate:
1.) push breast tissue down, palpate clavicle to greater crest of humerus resisting horizontal abd
2.) Come down sternum, then get client to put breast tissue up
Palpate long rib cage up to greater tubercle of humerus resisting horizontal abd and int.rot

Test position: client holds arm out for gravity, then resist h.abd, holding other shoulder down

A

Client prone.
To palpate: landmark C7, T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 resisting thumbs down lifting arm up to sky

Test: hold other scapula down and put pressure against distal forearm down

A

Palpation portion: client prone. Turn thigh out. Put knee up into flexion with internal rotation.
Resist knee flexion.

Test position: thigh rotated out, knee flexed to 70 and internally rotated?
Put palm on opposite psi’s and hold ankle. Resist knee flexion

A

Palpation portion: client supine, your knee under theirs. Resist hip flexion then knee ex.

Test position: client seated at end of table. Support under thigh. Resist knee extension

Psoas major

A

Palpation portion: client side lying, landmark L4 walk up L3,L2,L1,T12 and confirm with crunch
Move client into supine, mirror fingers, and get them to take a deep breath so your fingers sink in. Pulse contract crunch to inferior tubercle of femur.

Test position: supine. Put leg into hip flexion, abduction and externally rotate leg.
Place hand on opposite asis for support and resist at ankle

Broad handedly pulse contract protraction to medial border of scap then verbalize
