  • acute onset of reduced vision (possible 20/400)
  • VF defect (centrocecal)
  • dyschromatopsia

A
  • bilateral optic nerve pallor with swelling
  • nerve fiber layer defects
  • reduced contrast sensitivity
  • possible APD – if optic nerve damage is asymmetrical
