Benign
A form of cancer, capable of spreading
Malignant Tumor
Class for disease characterized by uncontrolled division of cells and the ability of these cells to invade other tissues

Metastasize
means to spread from one place to another
Metastasis
the process by which cancer is spread to a new site
- a malignant tumor that occurs in epithelial tissue
- epithelial tissue forms the protective covering for all internal and external surfaces of the body
Carcinomas
A malignant tumor that arises from connective tissues
Sarcoma
General term applied to malignancies affecting lymphatic tissues
Lymphoma
Cancer of the immune system distinguished by the presence of a large, cancerous lymphocytes
Hodgkin’s lymphoma
More common, refers to all lymphomas other than Hodgkin’s
Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
