Wilm’s Tumor/Nephroblastoma

A

Commonly presents as asymptomatic mass with mean age of dx of 3.5. Abdo pain (40%), hematuria (20%), hypertension, hemihypertrophy and aniridia.
Metastasize by blood/lymph: bone, lung, brain, liver.
Good prognosis, 80-90% survival with chemo, radiation and surgery.
Aniridia and wilm’s are both associated with Chromosome 11.

Beckwidth Wiedeman Syndrome

A

Overgrowth disorder. Macrosomia, visceromegaly, macroglossia, hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia, midline defects. Ear tags/pits. Associated with wilm’s Tumor.

A
