What is the difference between physically hurting someone and hurting someone with words?
A
Physical mainly affects a person’s daily life. An example is if someone was robbed. Hurting someone can affect their whole entire life and might make them do specific actions they don’t usually do. (bad way)

Why specifically a ger?
A
A ger may feel like an outsider from the Jews and saying something mean about their past may hugely affect them.
