Ensure all exhibits are kept in their useful state until they can be examined and processed

- Prevent unauthorised people entering scene
- Record details of anyone entering and exiting the scene
- Brief authorised people
- Record suspicious activity
- Avoid contaminating or interfering
- Beware of animals
