Climb runway centerline to EOACC retract flap/slat turn L/R to lowest MSA follow ATC
Stabilized Approach
1000’AAL (500’AAL Visual , Circling)
1. correct lateral/vertical flight path
2. only small change in heading/pitch
3. correct landing configuration with Speed Brake retract & spoiler armed
4. thrust appropriate
5. all briefing & applicable checklist complete
6. Speed not more than VAPP “bug” speed + 15kt and not less than VLS
7. Sink rate no greater than 1000ft/min or special briefing shall be conducted
8. not detect any excessive flight parameter deviation
- ILS -> 1 dot LOC/GS
- RNP -> XTK < 0.3nm / VDEV below path 3/4dot
- NPA -> less than 5degree deviation
- Visual -> align runway in 500’AAL
- Circling -> align runway in 300’AAL
*“Destable” after 1000’AAL “Stabilize” thereafter if external condition push aircraft beyond the stabilized parameter , the approach shall be re-stabilized at latest 500’AAL (without config change)
**Landing flaps selection should be initiated by 1,500’AAL for instruments approach , Crew may change landing flap to full & complete landing checklist by 1000’AAL

- นักบิน ชม <=200hr บินด้วยกันไม่ได้
- กับตัน ชม <=100hr ห้าม LVO
- กัปตัน ชม <=200hr ต้อง RVR +100m ใน LVO / Circling +200’ , 800’ which is higher
- กับตัน ชม <=250hr และยังไม่ LANDEE check ห้ามให้ FO แลน
- กับตัน ชม <=250hr ห้ามบิน CAT C aerodrome

- should & may -> optional
- Standard Weight -> Crew 85 / Adult 74,72 / Child 40 / Infant 10 / Baggage Actual (Child อายุ 2-12)
- All reports shall completed in BLOCK letter & legible manner
- All ASRs are summitted to Safety Department within 24hr of incident being reported
- FOC issue by HFO valid 6 years then amend
- MEMO -> temporary or transient nature , important information
- PIC shall exercise immediate operational base decisions on requirement of OM &
need to achieve the safest possible operation of his flight - Once the flight has commenced the authority to exercise control rest with PIC
- ATC flight plan valid 6hr & must be file at least 1hr before ETD
- the pilot who is responsible for the trim shall provide loading instructions to load personnel
OMA 1 Organization & Responsibilities
- authority comes from 2 source the law of Thailand & the Pilot status within company
- PIC duty -> Refueling , walk around , permit FO T/O L/D , fuel log , VR , technical log , ASR , cross checking each other document , Shutdown APU if no Engineer
hand over aircraft to authorized ground personnel , next flight crew taking charge , aircraft parked locked sealed - Copilot duty -> Complete document , Calculate T/O data , OFP , leaving the flight deck clean & tidy
- Station without Engineering support PIC shall carry out walkaround fill up & sigh off fuel log
- In event of diversion PIC shall carry out refuelling
OMA 4 Crew Composition
- Age 65 years shall not act as a pilot of an aeroplane on a public transport flight (บริษัทเรานับปีปฏิทิน)
- 1 cabin crew for every 50 passenger seats
- Chain of command (by Seniority if same position)
PIC -> CP -> SFO -> FO -> Second FO -> SCC(in charge CC)-> CC
TRE -> SFE -> TRI -> Line CP
OMA 5 Qualification requirement
- Command Upgrade -> Age 28+ , 4000hr , 2000 company hr , SFO (or 5000hr)
- CAAT regulation -> 3 T/O & L/D in 90 days in an aircraft , flight sim or
30 days before flight crew shall either been PF ,PM in an approved flight simulator same type (บินก็ได้) - Coft , OPC , LVO valid 6months (not less than 4 months)
- Type Rating , IR , Line check , SEP , CRM , Security valid 12months
- DG valid 24months

F/O T/O Ceiling/Visibility more than 200’/600m
F/O L/D Ceiling/Vis Straight in app with 500’/1600m
F/O L/D Ceiling/Vis Circling app with 800’/4800m
X-wind not exceed 20kt gust include
Runway is not Contaminated , Slippery
Aerodrome not CAT C
OMA 6 Crew Health Precaution
- Alcohol must not be consumed by a crew while on duty or during 10hr preceding reporting time & must not commence a flight duty period with a blood alcohol level excess of 0.2promille (0.02gram/100ml)
- Blood donation , Vaccination not fly at least 24hr / Deep diving >10m not fly at least 48hr
- In case stepdown duty , Fatigue report summit in 24hr to OCCM
- Medical Condition Unscheduled Landing -> Unconsciousness / Severe Shock / Heart Attack / Stop pulse & breath / Uncontrol bleeding / Internal bleeding / Epileptic fits / Retained Placenta
OMA 8.1.1 Flight Preparation Instructions
- MTCA clear 1000’ up to 6000’ / 2000’ above 6000’ / 5nm SID,STAR / 10nm ATS Route
- MOCA -> effect between VOR guarantee NAVAID in 22nm VOR
- MEA should higher than MTCA & MOCA also clear 5nm of route & guarantee radio & navaid
- MSA not guarantee radio
- operate under MSA เมื่อ establish SID / STAR / instrument APP / radar / Visual APP
OMA 8.1.2 Criteria for determining the Usability of Aerodromes
- RFF 320 required 6 minimum 5 / 321 required 7 minimum 6 / Adequate alternate 4
- Takeoff Alternate required when Departure Aerodrome minima < Landing minima
- only Departure / Destination minima ที่ไม่ต้องคิดบวกอากาศ 1 ขั้น
- Planning minima for Non precision APP apply +200’/1000m
- Destination Alternate Aerodrome within 50nm apply ceiling/visibility -> 2000’/5000m
- 2 Destination Alternate require when destination aerodrome < planning minima / no meteorological information
- Emergency Airport = Airport not adequate aerodrome , not list in OMC , use only in dire emergency
OMA 8.1.3 Methods for Determination and Use of Aerodrome Operating Minima
- X-Wind T/O 30/20kt gust included - CP/FO
- X-Wind L/D 30/25/20kt gust included - dry/wet/heavy rain
- VAT = indicated airspeed at threshold -> aeroplanes categories classification
1.3 VS / 1.23 VS1G(fly by wire) -> category C = 121 - 140kt - ICAO Miss Approach Climb Gradient 2.5%

- LTS CAT1 = lower than standard เป็น CAT1 ILS ที่จะลด DH กับ RVR ให้ต่ำกว่าปกติได้ (150’/400m)
- CMV ห้ามใช้คิด LVO , T/O minima , VIS <800m
OMA 8.1.6 Interpretation of Meteorological Information
- CAVOK -> 9999 / no cloud <5000’(NSC) / NOSIG(no significant change in 2hr)
- SIGMET update every 6hr & available 9hr before time in SIGMET
- METAR update every 1,0.5hr
- TAFS update every 6hr valid 24,30hr
- Short TAF update every 3hr valid 9hr
- SPECI -> METAR , AMD -> TAF
- non ETOP flight ค่า gust จาก TAFS disregard ได้
- disregard TEMPO/PROB improvement
- TEMPO/PROB ไม่ applicable weather +/- 1 hr ยกเว้น flight ETOP
- TEMPO/PROB ฝน ไม่คำนวน VIS
- BECMG ถ้าดีขึ้นนับหลังหมดช่วงเวลา ถ้าแย่ลงนับตั้งแต่เข้าช่วงเวลา
- FM…TL นับตั้งแต่เวลาที่บอกจนหมดช่วงเวลา TAF
- For planing purpose an aerodrome shall be consider to be below minimum if
RVR of VIS below applicable planing minima
ceiling vertical visibility below DH , MDH
steady crosswind exceed OM limitation
H-wind or T-wind exceed aeroplane limitation
OMA 8.1.7 Determination of the Quantities of Fuel and Oil to be Carried
- Contingency fuel เอาค่ามากระหว่าง
5% trip fuel
5min holding Speed 1500’AAL at Destination ISA - Contingency fuel ใช้ได้ทันทีหลังถอด fuel browser
- Alternate fuel คิดตั้งแต่ a Miss APP / CI = 0
- Final reserve คิด 30 min holding Speed 1500’ at Destination Alternate ISA
- Additional Fuel เช่น ETOP fuel , Company Fuel
- No Economic Tankering fuel in Contaminated Runway
