eight Palestinian terrorists entered the Olympic village and seized 11 members of the Israeli Olympic team. They made a request to release 234 Palestinians that were being imprisoned in Israel. German authorities tried to rescue hostages but failed and all 11 hostages and 5 terrorists were killed, another 3 terrorists were injured.
