Duet 11:26-28
Context: As God led the children of Israel out of Egypt, they were given a choice … to choose the Gods of Egypt, which would come with a curse, or to choose God and covenants, and be blessed.
Scripture: “Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; a blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I commanded you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.”
Joshua 24:15
Scripture: Choose you this day whom ye will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served … but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Deut 8:2
And thou shalt remember all the way(s) which the Lord thy God let thee these 40 years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments or no.

Why are there so many languages spoke ?
Exodus 11:7 - the people tried to build a tower to babel and the Lord confounded their language so they could not understand each other.
What versus in Genesis prove their is no “evolution”
Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:24 - commanded all creatures to multiply and replenish “each after its own kind”
What does the word / name “Israel” mean?
Let God Prevail.
God wanted His covenant people (the covenant He made with Abraham’s seed) to let God prevail in their lives.
What trial is harder? To be poor or to be rich? And what verse in the Old Testament helps teach this principle?
Both are equally trying!
Proverbs 30:8-9 demonstrates how poverty and wealth are equally trying. Both will lead us away from or towards God - it’s our choice / trial.
