Bunshi Shirota’s “Total Body Treatment”
CV 12: 100 moxa
GV 12: 3 moxa
LI 11 and ST 36: 3 moxa
Uranaitei (Extra Point)
Used for food poisoning or gastric distress.
Located on the plantar surface of the foot,
proximal to the Metatarsal-phalangeal joint
of 2nd toe. Find where toe pad would meet
sole if tucked under.
3-5 x (felt) on LESS sensitive side.
Ohmondo
Pain: Lumbar, Sacrum, Lower Limbs
Knee bent at lateral ends of crease by LV and GB channels
Find reactive points that alleviate pain

Hara’s “Sacral Treatment”
Lots of things from the waist down
8 points on inverted triangle on sacrum + ST 36
1 okyu per age until 7. Then only 7
Begin with ST 36 bilaterally, then all 8 sacral points, or alternate 1-4 then 5-8 each week for deficient patients
Base: 1&4 are around Yaoyan 2&3: at thirds between 1/4 Apex = tip of coccyx 5&6: directly below 2&3 (at edge of sacrum) 7&8: midway between 2 and 5 / 3 and 6
Dr. Tanaka’s Sacral Treatment
Back pain/spasm, inguinal pain, pelvic pain, induction & labor, infertility, difficulty walking or lower limb neuropathy.
3-5 okyu on “A” and “B” points
Find point “O” first (around Du2 - 3 fingerwidths up from table in sitting position)
“A” is 3 fingerwidths lateral to “O”
“B” is 2 fingerwidths superior to “A”
Points that are most reactive in those areas are used

NOT contraindicated in pregnancy
3 okyu on each points
Kohgi: 2 cun above SP6 (level with LV 5)
Eichi: (2) points located just lateral to the widest parts of medial maleolus (either side of it)
Rion: directly under medial maleolus
