Overtreatment
Cone moxa is often used to help correct “overtreatment” or over stimulation. Fevers can also be treated with this technique.

Speed the healing of bruises and swelling from trauma. Also good for gwa sha, bloodletting, cupping.

Inflammation
Cones create a venting portal to allow stasis to release. Stop when slight sweat occurs.

Yanagishta’s “Monster Cone”
Good for chemotherapy, anxiety, autoimmune problems, tight abdomen above and flacid below.
Create a 2-3” diameter cone and place on ST12 or SCM, until patient feels a warm sensation.

Burn cones or rice-sized okyu at parameter of affected area
