What is the meaning of a Check Oil amber annunciation when checking the oil level on the ROLS?
Oil is below the full level
What should be done prior to dispatch regarding oil level on a cold airplane (Assuming ROLS showed an amber indication)?
You must visually check the sight gauge to determine if the oil is below the no dispatch level.
What type of oil is approved for use in our powerplants?
Oils conforming to EMS-53110 Type 2 turbine oil (Flexjet recommends Eastman/Exxon/BP 2380)
What are the minimum oil temperature limits for operating?
-40* C for engine start
5* C for idle power
15* C for takeoff (as long as Cold Wx operation procedures are followed)
above 27* C = GREEN indication
