Q

What is Quality Management about?

A

It is about fully understanding and
documenting the quality required
by the project owner, by end users
of the project and by law.

It is not about Managers policing
the project personnel to detect
bad quality or bad practices.

It is about obtaining commitment
from each project participant to
take personal responsibility for
achievement of the agreed quality
criteria including the project
specification.

It is about measuring project
performance against agreed criteria
& providing feed-back to all project
personnel to allow them take
action & to make improvements if
adverse trends are appearing.
