Q

State Ohm’s Law - both in words and as a mathematical formula

A

“At constant temperature current is directly proportional to its potential difference.” Mathematical expression on can be given as— V = IR. Where V represents potential difference; I represents current and R = Resistance constant.

Q

Compare the properties of ohmic and non-ohmic resistors, including typical graphs

A

The graph for an ohmic conductor is a straight line. The resistance can be found from the gradient of the graph. The current vs voltage graph for a non-ohmic conductor is not a straight line.
