  • Must have 2 years immediate experience depending on the class of license.

  • Submit evidence of comprehensive GL insurance of $100K per person, $300K per injury, and $100K for property.

Complete 20 hours of handgun training and 5 hours of other firearms training if any other firearm is to be used, or equivalency training. Turn in certificate of completion, file an application for registration, receive a firearm-bearer notification on guard card, and qualify annually.
