That the case was opened in January of 2016.
After the year and the month, a cause number has the initials JP. What does this tell you?
That the case type is juvenile paternity.
If the case type is RS in a cause number, what does this mean?
That it is a Reciprocal Support case.
What does Reciprocal Support allow for?
It allows for each state to enforce another state’s support order.
What does the case type PO stand for in a cause number?
Protective Order
When searching on Odyssey, what do you use to search for a partial name or number?
The * is used as a wildcard.
When trying to locate a file, what sections of the Summary Tab might be helpful?
The location, related cases and current events sections.
If the caption of a case is not showing, which tab would you go to and what would you look for?
The Details Tab and look at the auto style box.
The Case Location can be changed on what tabs?
The Summary and Details Tabs.
When might you change the case location on Odyssey.
When the file is being moved into or out of the court.
If the judge orders a case to be made confidential, how do you do this on Odyssey?
On the Details Tab use the Security box.
What are the two main configured party types in a JP case?
Petitioner and Respondent

If you did not want a person listed on the parties tab to get automatic notices, what would you configure them as?
A Participant
How can you remove a Party?
Right click on the Party, select modify, click the connection, enter the date and select a reason.
