A multilocular tumour with a radio-opaque outline occuring in posterior mandible. Occurs in 50-60 year old afro-carribeans
Ameloblastoma
A multi or unilocular OT occuring in premolar/molar region of mandible with radio-opaque outline. Occurs in 20-60 year olds.
CLUE = contains amyloid
Calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumour
A mixed odontogenic tumour that can be uni or multi cystic and occurs in the molar region of the mandible or maxilla.
Commonly in second decade of life
Ameloblastic fibroma
A OT containing small cyst and duct like spaces. Radiolucent with small internal calcifications. Occurs in anterior maxilla.
Adenomatoid OT
A radiolucent with radio-opaque internal calcifications OT occuring in maxilla or mandible and associated with an unerupted tooth. Unilocular, small
Calcifying odontogenic tumour
A unilocular OT made from mesenchyme occuring in the premolar/molar region of mandible. Radiolucent.
Odontogenic fibroma
A multilocular OT occurring in the posterior mandible or maxilla. Radiolucent with internal septa.
Odontogenic myxoma
OT with a radio-opaque inside and radio-lucent outline. Formed from mesenchymal tissue
