A
Recurrent, persistent, unwanted urges/images which the individual attempts to suppress with some other though or action (compulsion)
Compulsions are repetitive behaviours or mental acts aimed at reducing anxiety
The obsessions/compulsions are time consuming and interfere with the individuals functioning
