Obedience levels fell to 40% when the teacher was closer to the learner because they could see what they were going through

Uniforms have a powerful impact on obedience as they convey power. There would be a higher level of obedience

A person who sees there self as an agent for carrying out another persons wishes
Legitimate authority
A person who is perceived to be in a position of social control
Self image
How people want others to see them. When moved into the agentic state they no longer have this worry
The authoritarian personality
A distinct personality pattern characterised by conventional values and beliefs in absolute obedience
Dispositional
Being caused by an individuals own personality traits

A measure of authoritarian traits or tendencies
Right wing authoritarian
Personality variables that are associated with right wing attitude to life
