why do babies breathe through their nose mostly?
so they can breathe through their nose while feeding.
lacy and mottled newborn?
due to immature circulatory system.
cord care?
don’t clean with hydrogen peroxide, dont wash cord at all
do not remove
CALL IF GREENISH DRAINAGE APPEARS
leave cord open to air to not trap moisture
Folic acid prevents?
neural tube defects (like spina bifida)
IUGR signs?
low fundal height
