S/S of Interstitial Cystitis (painful bladder synd)
A
- pain in pelvis btwn vagina and anus (women) or scrotum and anus (men)
- chronic pelvic pain
- persistent, urgent need to urinate
- frequency but small amounts throughout day and night (up to 60 times in a day!!)
- pain/discomfort while bladder fills and relief after urinating
- pain during sex
- *more common in women
