Who sets out the requirements for nutritional labelling?
FIC Regulation 2011
List the four pieces of nutritional information that are required on packaged foods
Nutritional information must be displayed per 100g or per 100ml
Nutritional information must relate to the foodstuff as it is sold i.e. the form it is in e.g. for uncooked meat
Nutritional information must be presented together in one place in a table with the numbers aligned
The minimum mandatory information must be displayed which includes energy fat, saturates, carbohydrates, sugars, proteins and salt
