Why is the list of ingredients in descending order of weight required on a label?
This enables consumers to see exactly what ingredients are used in foods
How should declaration of allergens be displayed on labels?
They should be declared in the ingredients list with their names emphasised to ensure consumers can clearly distinguish them
Why do allergens need to be displayed on labels?
This enables consumers to reduce their risk of suffering an allergic reaction
