Scurvy- eitology and time frame

4-10 months to develop
Early symptoms of scurvy
- lethargy
- malaise
- fever
- loss of appetite
- nausea
- diarrhea
Late symptoms of scurvy
- swollen gums prone to bleeding*
- loose teeth
- bulging eyes
- slow wound healing
- swelling due to bleeding
Sever complications of scurvy (3)
- stunted growth of premature closure of physes
- anemia
- heart attack

- Subperiosteal hemorrage
- Trummerfelds zone (below white line of frankel)
