Carbohydrates, protein, lipids, minerals and vitamins

Amino acids
What are lipids made up of?
Fatty acids and glycerol
Examples of carbohydrates?
Glucose found in sweet tasting food Starch found in rice, potato etc.
Example of protein?
Fish, cheese and eggs
Examples of lipids
Meat, butter anything particularly high in fat
Examples of minerals
Calcium found in dairy product Iron found in red meats
Examples of vitamins
Vitamin A - found in carrots Vitamin C - fresh fruit and vegetables Vitamin D - found in fish livers
