Complete and analyze a comprehensive assessment of the patient

Fully analyzes assessment cues into relevant groups of identifying criteria and formulate nursing diagnosis
Diagnosis
Identifies all expected outcomes for patients in the full range of acuities and care settings
Outcome identification
Prioritize nursing diagnosis and individual interventions, as well as alternatives, to be carried out by the health care team
Planning
Direct and carry out nursing interventions, participate in the implementation of collaborative interventions and follow up on those interventions appropriately delegated to other members of the healthcare team
Implementation
Comprehensively evaluate the patient’s progress toward achievement of outcomes and adjust the plan of care accordingly
