- The upper end of the tibia, the cuboid bone and that of the lower end of the femur reaches 5 mm in diameter at 9th month (full term baby).

- Frontal suture closes at 2 years.
- Sagittal suture closes at 30 years
- Coronal suture closes at 40 years.
- Lambdoid suture closes at 50 years.

Pubic ramus unites with ischial ramus (hip bone) at 6
