What are variations.
Differences between organisms of the same species.
What is an inherited characteristic.
Feature passed down from parents to young.
individuals of the same species can reproduce name some examples.

What is correlation?
Relationship between two factors such as height of parent and height of their child. Or eye colour or propensity to be belligerent for example.
When two factors are similar or the same there is a high correlation, if not similar or the same we have a low correlation.
Why may children look similar to their relatives.
Due to inherited characteristics.
there are some characteristics that we may not have inherited name an example.
Some people spend more time developing their muscles.
What is everything around us made of ?
Matter.
What is matter.
Anything that has mass and takes up space.
What three states can matter be in.
Solid, liquid and gas.
What is compressive strength?
The strength of an object that stops it from being crushed ,or changing shape when pushed or squeezed.
What is tensile strength?
Strength of an object that stops it from breaking when pulled apart.
What is flexibility?
Ability to bend easily.
Why would we not use bricks to make a hose?
Because it would be to heavy and inflexible for its intended use .
What does melt mean?
WHen a substance turns from solid to liquid.0
What is a melting point?
The temperature at which matter turns from a solid to a liquid.
