A

DFN: A holistic model of health & well-being which integrates biological, psychological & socio-cultural aspects of well being.

Aim: to consider a more hollistic approach by considering the the broarder influences of psycho-social factors on health & wellbeing (as opposed to the older organ based biomedical model of health and disease)
