Nov 7 Yilmonster Lecture Flashcards

1
Q

What are the implant loading protocols

A

Lower = wait 3-6 months
Upper = wait 4-6 months
New research is showing that you don’t need to wait this long

Q

What is immediate loading

A

Loading within 48 hours
Don’t do it after 7 days or the implant will likely fail
Around Week 3-4, the stability is at the lowest
