Mass
A measure of the amount of matter
Matter
Anything that has mass and takes up space
Atom

Extensive Properties
Depends on the amount of matter that is present
Intensive Properties
Do not depend on the amount of matter present

The state that has definite volume and definite shape
Liquid
Definite volume but not a definite shape

Neither definite volume nor shape
Plasma
A high temperature physical state of matter in which atoms lose their electrons

Relates to a substance’s ability to undergo changes that transform it into different substances
